Open Letter to our Honourable PM Modi - Change Reservation Formula To Alleviate Poverty

Dear Sir,

After implementing reservation even for more than 60 years, we saw SC, ST & OBC candidates of villages are still poor. It's because benefit of reservation is not reaching to the poor.

Reason: Candidates studying in city schools are enjoying reservation-benefits & village students (who really need reservation) are still deprived.

Ground Reality : Suppose there are 20 seats reserved for SC candidates

in a Medical College. Still SC belonging to villages & small towns are NOT getting admission. Reason it that SC candidates belonging to cities are selected on those seats, as they get coaching & best education facilities.

Also a new class of some very poor Brahmins has also developed due to reservation, who reside in villages.

Brahmins are real Minority ( 5 % of India's Population , just 5 Crores )

So, it's better to provide reservation to General communties as well. It will stop all future protest movements to be included in OBC

Solution

Pass this Bill in Indian Parliament

1) Anybody getting education in Elite or A class private schools (on basis of 12th class marksheet) shall not be entitled to get reservation, irrespective of his religion,  caste, color, sex, creed.  Reason is that he/she is considered to have got best education environment & teachers.

2) Anybody getting education in schools of Metro Cities, state capitals & 1st class cities, shall also be not entitled to get reservation.  Reason is same, if they are paying heavy fees, it means they are not financially weak & getting best environment of education.

Note: Somebody will object & say wards of peons may also be studying in schools of cities & he/she will harmed by this policy. Answer to this objection, it is okay he/she is from economically weak family, but he has got good education opportunity as he/she is in a city school, so he must qualify with his own caliber at unreserved seats.

3) Anybody passing class 10th, 11th & 12th from small towns & villages shall only be given reservation, irrespective of his/her religion, caste, color, sex or creed. Reason is that he/she has not studied in good schools & has not enjoyed such facilities as a boy/girl has had in the city.

4) Reserve 15% seats for General candidates who have studied in schools of villages & small towns.  Reason is that since they are studying in villages, it means they have not got better education facilities & hence considered financially weak or unstable.

 Benefits:

 1) Village/ small town students will get  the benefit of reservation. Till now, cities    students are enjoying reservation benefits &    village students are not getting it.

 2) Migration from villages to cities for  education will pause. As a result,   population congestion problem will also   halt in cities.

  3)  No Corruption: The problem in taking      economic condition of parents as the criteria     of reservation is that it is practically seen that people make fake certificates of low-income. There would be constant debate on creamy-layer standard level 5 lakh per annum or 6 lakh or blah blah blah. But, the proposed idea is corruption free. e.g. If a boy X is studying in a city school & is asking for reservation by making a fake certificate from village school, then he fellow classmates make an appeal against him, because the are the proof that he has studied with them.

4) Caste-based hatred will cease as every candidate from the rural background would be getting reservation.

5) No further such Jat/Patel movements for getting included in OBC list will take place, as everybody would be getting reservation.
